America’s Big Sisters Foundation seeks to empower, encourage, educate, and enlighten young ladies to become positive, independent, goal-oriented, and self-sufficient in society.

America’s Big Sisters Foundation launched July 2017 with its Staple event the Empowherment Summit (currently All Girls Matter) at Robert Morris University in Chicago. The conference continues to host thousands of girls across America.

In 2021, 57% of high school girls reported experiencing “persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness in the past year,” up from 36% in 2011. The All Girls Matter Empowerment Conference, is a one-day event designed to create a safe and inclusive space for young girls ages 9-18. The participants attend interactive workshops, engage in panel discussions, motivational talks, and have an opportunity to connect with like-minded peers.

Since our Journey Across America began in 2022 "We've Changed the World of 3,200 Girls." As the journey continues we aim to continue to Change the World of a Girl in every state in America.
